The Matarraña is land, river and mountain. A landscape of endless forests cultivated land and farmhouses, dotted with beautiful villages among which are two of the most beautiful in Spain Valderrobres and Calaceite. All villages have medieval origin, are built in defensive positions, and have buildings of great architectural value.

The gastronomy of the area is based on the stews of legumes, quality meats raised in the region, Lamb Pig and Rabbit, killing products, cod and herring, it's almond-producing area, Peach, vine and olives and truffle. There are very good wines in the Matarraña and in neighboring Terra Alta and an excellent oil. Cheese, Hams and Sausages, Pastas and Bread. In Posada Guadalupe we work the tradition, the recovery of recipes and dishes of the territory trying to give them a new updated version, but reflecting aromas and textures of a lifetime.
