The T-Shirt with 1209 meters is the highest mountain in Monroyo. Tradition has it that a little shepherd disappeared in that game, only found his T-shirt bloodied at the top and attributed the disappearance to the wolves. This legend transmitted by oral tradition inspired Carles Terés to write the Novel Lycanthropy, set in the villages of Matarraña, can be purchased from Monroyo Service Station.
The route can be done from Monroyo, by mountain bike or on foot and from the top there are several alternatives to return, especially by bike. The most technical going down the path to the fountain and then following the equestrian route to the more of the Serra, you can also go down towards Herbes or Tower of Coffers.
The viewpoint is spectacular, 360or with a view to which more interesting although none equals the arch that goes from La Molinera to Torremiró passing through the ports of Beceite, by Peñarroya and Herbes, where Caixa stand out, Pena Swamp, the Rocks of the Masmut, the Cingle de Sant Jaume, the Barranc d’Enferri la Puntasa, La Mola, the Sargar… and many peoples.
A fun challenge is to guess which is which, that I know clockwise monroyo looks. The Comte Tower, Calaceite, Fuentespalda, Peñarroya, Herbés, Castellote, More of the Matas, Aguaviva, La Ginebrosa, the Zerollera, that add up 11 and on a very clear day you may see some more.
It's a enjoy the whole tour, the views, The Apple Fountain, an activity that we recommend and as always we thank you for showing by nature the respect it deserves.
